Overview
- London Liverpool Street’s concourse will be closed December 25 to January 1 for Bishopsgate tunnel strengthening, roof works and extra ticket barriers, with reopening planned for January 2.
- Greater Anglia services, including Stansted Express, will run to and from Stratford December 27 to January 1, while c2c trains normally using Liverpool Street will divert to London Fenchurch Street via West Ham.
- The London Overground Mildmay line will be suspended between Gospel Oak and Richmond/Shepherd’s Bush from December 25 to January 4, with normal services due to resume January 5.
- During the Mildmay closure, trains will operate between Stratford and Gospel Oak/Willesden Junction and a shuttle will run between Clapham Junction and Shepherd’s Bush.
- Separate works include an 11‑day switches-and-crossings renewal at Kensal Green and upgrades between Queenstown Road and Nine Elms that will alter Waterloo-area services for about a week.
