Liverpool Legend Ron Yeats Passes Away at 86

The former captain, known as 'the Colossus,' was pivotal in Liverpool's rise under Bill Shankly.

Ron Yeats captained Liverpool for over 400 games, second only to Steven Gerrard.
He led the team to two league titles and their first FA Cup victory in 1965.
Yeats joined Liverpool from Dundee United in 1961 and played 454 games for the club.
After retiring as a player, he served as Liverpool's chief scout for 20 years.
Yeats battled Alzheimer's disease in his later years before passing away.
