Live Nation to Open 50,000-Seat Rogers Stadium in Toronto

The temporary outdoor venue at Downsview Park will host its first concerts in June 2025, boosting Toronto's arts and tourism sectors.

Live Nation announced the construction of a 50,000-capacity open-air music venue in north Toronto, named Rogers Stadium.
The venue will be located on the former Downsview Airport lands and is set to open in June 2025.
Rogers Stadium will cater to diverse audiences with performances from top global artists, including K-Pop, Afrobeats, and Latin music stars.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow highlighted the venue's potential to enhance the province's arts, culture, and tourism sectors.
The Downsview site, currently undergoing a long-term redevelopment plan, will eventually be transformed into residential neighborhoods housing up to 55,000 people.
