Overview

  • The story follows Prince Adam of Eternia as he wields the Power Sword to transform into He-Man and defend Castle Grayskull against Skeletor’s forces.
  • Travis Knight directed the film from a Chris Butler screenplay, and it was co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Mattel Films and Escape Artists.
  • Nicholas Galitzine announced the end of filming on Instagram, praising his castmates and calling the dual role of Adam and He-Man “the role of a lifetime.”
  • Galitzine prepared for He-Man through an intensive regimen of weightlifting and consuming about 4,000 calories a day.
  • The live-action adaptation is scheduled to premiere exclusively in theaters worldwide on June 5, 2026.
