Live-Action 'Bakugan' Movie Announced with Brad Peyton at the Helm

Spin Master Entertainment partners with filmmaker Brad Peyton to adapt the billion-dollar toy and anime franchise into a live-action film.

Brad Peyton, known for directing 'Rampage' and 'San Andreas,' will write, direct, and produce the first live-action adaptation of the 'Bakugan' franchise.
The screenplay will be developed in collaboration with Lindsay Harbert and Spin Master Entertainment, the company behind the original toy line and anime series.
Launched in 2007, 'Bakugan' has become a global phenomenon, generating over $1 billion in toy sales and spanning 300 episodes of anime content aired worldwide.
Spin Master aims to expand the franchise's reach by appealing to both its original fanbase, now adults, and new audiences worldwide.
The project adds to Spin Master’s growing film slate, which includes the third 'Paw Patrol' movie scheduled for release in 2026.
