- Liv Morgan successfully defended the Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer on Raw in Birmingham on Sept. 7 in a longer, more competitive rematch than their WrestleMania encounter.
- Raw began Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying matches, officially starting the build to the Oct. 10 Money in the Bank event at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
- Bronson Reed made a surprise return on Sunday Night’s Main Event and attacked Oba Femi with a steel chair, a development that carried into Raw and intensified The Vision’s feud with Femi.

- Paul Heyman teased an unnamed ‘mystery man’ after The Vision’s assault, a storyline beat that has prompted speculation about Seth Rollins but remains unconfirmed, and WWE used Netflix streaming and AAA cross-promotion to compress and spotlight these angles.
