Overview
- A postcode in Littleborough, OL15 9JD (covering Melrose Avenue), was named one of the 20 winners in the Postcode Lottery daily draw and every valid ticket in that postcode received a £1,000 payout.
- The Postcode Lottery selects multiple postcodes in each draw and pays the announced sum to all valid tickets registered in each chosen postcode under its postcode-based prize model.
- The lottery operator directs a minimum of 33% of ticket sales to good causes and reports that players have helped raise more than £1.8 billion for thousands of charities to date.
- Residents are advised to check the Postcode Lottery website for the full daily winners list and to confirm eligibility and payout details for individual tickets.
- For people in the winning area the payout provides a small, immediate boost to household incomes and the scheme’s steady charity funding can support local and national projects over time.
