Little Simz to Curate 30th Meltdown Festival at London's Southbank Centre

The acclaimed British rapper will oversee an 11-day lineup of music, art, and workshops in June 2025, marking the festival's milestone year.

Little Simz, at 30 years old, becomes the youngest curator in the history of the Meltdown Festival, following previous curators like David Bowie, Grace Jones, and Chaka Khan.
The festival will run from June 12 to June 22, 2025, featuring performances handpicked by Little Simz, along with two weekends of free events and participatory programming.
Jane Beese, head of contemporary music at the Southbank Centre, praised Simz’s genre-defying creativity and ambition to inspire the next generation of creators.
Little Simz has built a critically acclaimed career with albums like 'Sometimes I Might Be Introvert' and 'No Thank You,' and has also gained recognition for her acting roles in 'Top Boy' and 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage.'
The first wave of performers for the festival is set to be announced in spring 2025, with anticipation building for Simz's vision for the milestone event.
