  • At least 10 people have been hospitalized in California and Nevada due to a listeria outbreak linked to Fresh & Ready Foods' ready-to-eat products.
  • The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control identified the contamination through whole genome sequencing of environmental samples from the company’s San Fernando facility.
  • Fresh & Ready Foods has voluntarily recalled more than 75 products, including sandwiches, snack boxes, and pasta, with use-by dates between April 22 and May 19.
