Lions' Dan Campbell Dismisses Texas A&M Coaching Rumors

Despite his love for his alma mater, Campbell insists he is not the right fit for the head coaching job at Texas A&M.

Dan Campbell, head coach of the Detroit Lions and Texas A&M alum, has dismissed rumors linking him to the head coaching job at his alma mater, following the firing of Jimbo Fisher.
Campbell stated that while he loves his school and is willing to help in any way, he does not wish to coach for them.
Campbell's Lions are currently leading the NFC North division with a 7-2 record, trailing only the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC chase for homefield advantage in the postseason.
Campbell has been with the Lions since 2021 and has a record of 19-23-1 with Detroit.
Other coaches, including Colorado's Deion Sanders and Oregon's Dan Lanning, have also denied interest in the Texas A&M job.
