Lions Activate Marcus Davenport From IR for Thanksgiving Vs. Packers
Detroit pairs the edge rusher’s return with multiple depth moves across the roster.
Overview
- Activated after a Week 2 pectoral/shoulder injury, Davenport is expected to be available for Thursday’s game following two early-season appearances with five tackles and one sack.
- The Lions also activated rookie offensive lineman Miles Frazier from the PUP list to bolster a banged-up unit, with starting center Graham Glasgow ruled out and Taylor Decker, Penei Sewell, and Tate Ratledge listed as questionable.
- Detroit waived running back Craig Reynolds to create space on the 53-man roster.
- The team signed tight end Anthony Firkser and wide receiver Tom Kennedy to the practice squad and designated center Kingsley Eguakun and tight end Zach Horton as gameday elevations.
- All-Pro center Frank Ragnow was reinstated from the reserve/retired list and placed on the Commissioner’s exempt list, and defensive end Josh Paschal was not activated and remains on reserve/NFI.
