Overview

  • A fight over cutting in line by 49-year-old Miguel Orellanas-Flores on July 5 escalated into violence outside the Colma GameStop on Junipero Serra Boulevard.
  • Orellanas-Flores struck an unnamed man in the head with a glass mason jar and 27-year-old Isaiah Calles used the shattered fragments to stab him multiple times.
  • Both suspects fled in separate vehicles but were identified by license plate photos provided by the victim and later arrested by Colma and Daly City police.
  • The victim was hospitalized with head lacerations and multiple stab wounds, initially listed in life-threatening condition and now reported to be stable.
  • Orellanas-Flores and Calles are held at San Mateo County Jail on charges including assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy.
