The series, written and directed by Steve Conrad, centers on a love triangle among three middle-aged adults that leads to one of their deaths.
'DTF St. Louis' evolved from a previously shelved project titled 'My Dentist’s Murder Trial,' which was inspired by a New Yorker article but now features an original storyline.
The show is currently in pre-production and will consist of seven episodes, with Bateman and Harbour also serving as executive producers.
Cardellini's recent credits include Hulu's 'Nutcrackers' and Netflix's 'No Good Deed,' which premieres on December 12.
