Lincoln Square Man Faces First-Degree Murder Charge in Wife's Stabbing

Nurmuhammed Inus, a father of four, is in custody and set to appear in court after allegedly fatally stabbing his wife during a domestic dispute.

Nurmuhammed Inus, 35, is accused of fatally stabbing his wife, Mairunnisa B. Osman, 29, late Saturday night in Lincoln Square, Chicago.
The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed Osman died of multiple sharp force injuries, ruling her death a homicide.
Inus allegedly fled the scene in a blue 2016 Honda and later contacted relatives, stating he intended to turn himself in to police.
He was arrested late Saturday night at the 20th District police station and is charged with first-degree murder.
The couple’s four daughters, including a 12-year-old who identified Inus as the perpetrator, are left in the aftermath of this family tragedy.
