- Previews begin December 16 at the Off-Broadway Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, with opening night December 18 and the limited engagement running through January 4, 2026.
- Tony winner Kenny Leon directs with music direction by Steven Osgood, set design by Derek McLane, costumes by Emilio Sosa, lighting by Adam Honoré, sound by Marc Salzberg, and choreography by Ioana Alfonso.
- Joyce DiDonato leads the cast as Amahl’s Mother with Albert Rhodes Jr. as Amahl, Phillip Boykin as King Balthazar, Bernard Holcomb as King Kaspar, Todd Thomas as King Melchior, and Johnathan McCullough as the Page.
- Casting is by The Telsey Office’s Karyn Casl and Destiny Lilly with Met Opera consultants Melissa Wegner and Brian Speck, and the stage manager is Bonnie Panson.
