• Officers responded around 17:16 on Sunday to reports of gunfire inside a retail wholesaler at the Namakgale Shopping Complex in Limpopo.
• Police say the husband chased his wife into the manager’s office and fired two shots that injured the female manager before forcing his wife outside.
• Investigators report the suspect stabbed his wife several times, fatally shot her, and then turned the gun on himself.
• An unlicensed handgun with an obliterated serial number was recovered at the scene, along with cartridges, projectiles, and a knife.
• SAPS opened two murder and one attempted-murder cases as Provincial Commissioner Lt-Gen Thembi Hadebe condemned the attack and urged those in troubled relationships to seek help.
