Overview
- The first outing is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4, beginning at the Santuario de Las Nazarenas and proceeding along Av. Tacna, Av. Emancipación, and the jirones Chancay and Conde de Superunda before returning to the temple.
- Metropolitano adjustments include Route C operating only to Estación Central, while Route A continues normal service along Av. Alfonso Ugarte.
- Corredor Azul buses from Lima toward San Juan de Lurigancho will use Av. Garcilaso de la Vega, Av. Nicolás de Piérola, and Av. Alfonso Ugarte, and inbound services from Rímac will divert via Av. Francisco Pizarro, then Av. Alfonso Ugarte and Garcilaso de la Vega.
- Corredor Morado service will terminate at Jirón Virú, and conventional routes run normally except those on Av. Argentina, which must end and turn at Plaza Ramón Castilla.
- At 12:00 p.m. on Oct. 4, the synchronized 'levantada mundial' will be broadcast by RPP, Canal HN, Nazarenas TV, and the Arzobispado as 52 brotherhoods raise the anda at a bell from Cardinal Carlos Castillo, and the program includes a return to Callao on Oct. 26 after 22 years.
