Lima Metro Line 2 and Airports Drive 88% of Peru’s Transport Concession Spending Through September

  • Line 2 logged $453.5 million over the period and $156.1 million in September alone, bringing life-to-date spending to $4,552.8 million, or 70.92% of its $6,419 million referential.
  • Airport works invested $315.5 million year to date, led by $297.6 million at Jorge Chávez by Lima Airport Partners and $17.8 million across 12 regional terminals, for $1,353.6 million cumulative, or 49.87% of a $2,714 million referential.
  • Across 33 transport concessions, cumulative investment reached $13,633 million to September, or 65.38% of the sector’s $20,852 million referential.
  • Other subsectors saw limited recent outlays, with September investments of $20.75 million in roads and $3.2 million in ports, and eight concessions are due to expire within five years.
