Lima Extends Blue Corridor to Midnight as ATU Reroutes Airport Links for Line 4 Works

The changes respond to a technical review showing late‑night demand and keep access to Jorge Chávez intact during Elmer Faucett closures.

Overview

  • Starting October 6, route 301 runs 5 a.m.–12 a.m. Monday to Saturday and until 11 p.m. on Sundays; route 305 runs 5 a.m.–12 a.m. on Wednesdays to Fridays and until 11 p.m. from Saturday to Tuesday.
  • More than 49,000 daily riders are expected to benefit, with fares unchanged at S/2.40 (full) and S/1.20 (half) paid with Metropolitano or Lima Pass cards.
  • On October 5, the second diversion phase closed a stretch of Av. Elmer Faucett and redirected 55 public services via Avs. Argentina, Juan Velasco Alvarado and Venezuela toward San Miguel.
  • AeroDirecto Sur now uses Argentina, Insurgentes, Venezuela and Raúl Haya de la Torre toward San Miguel and returns to the airport via La Marina, Santa Rosa and Morales Dúarez, while AeroDirecto Centro makes a U‑turn at the works zone to continue by Argentina, Enrique Meiggs and Óscar R. Benavides.
  • ATU warned of possible congestion on alternate corridors as construction progresses at the Carmen de la Legua station on the Line 4 branch.
