Overview
- The JEE Lima Centro 1 declared the party’s presidential ticket inadmissible, leaving it out of Peru’s 2026 general elections.
- The resolution says the filing came after the deadline, noting the party started the process on time but failed to complete it before the exceptional December 24 closure.
- The JEE said a complete impossibility to file was not proven and argued the party could have submitted an incomplete request to fix later, as other groups did.
- A JNE technical report acknowledged isolated incidents in the SIGNNET digital signature system but concluded they did not generally block registrations because other parties filed on time.
- Candidate Marisol Pérez Tello called the decision “absurd,” announced an appeal, cited SIGNNET failures, said documents were also entered via the physical intake desk, and demanded logs, the SOFT & NET SOLUTIONS contract and SLA, incident records for DECLARA+, and QA/DEV test reports, while questioning the shift from ReFirma and the cost of appeals.
