Lil Wayne Joins Major League Pickleball Team Texas Ranchers as Investor and Strategic Advisor

Lil Wayne, the Grammy-winning rapper, has joined the Texas Ranchers Pickleball team as part owner and strategic advisor.
The Texas Ranchers is one of the eight founding Major League Pickleball (MLP) teams in the US. Notable owners include The Kid LAROI, Emmanuel Acho, and Dennis Wong.
In his advisory role, Lil Wayne is expected to help drive national and local fandom to the sport, support creative ideas and future apparel collaborations, and assist in building pickleball courts in underserved areas.
Pickleball, a paddle sports game, has seen a surge in popularity recently. High-profile investors similar to Lil Wayne, such as Lebron James, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes also have stakes in the league.
Lil Wayne brings his experiences in the sports industry, including his work on ESPN’s ESPY Awards and his contributions to Skip Bayless’ Fox Sports 1 series 'Undisputed', to his new role in the Texas Ranchers.
