Lil Durk Faces New Felony Charges in Murder-for-Hire Plot

The rapper is accused of orchestrating a 2022 assassination attempt that left a rival's cousin dead, now facing life in prison.

Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, has been charged with conspiracy and using interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death.
The charges stem from an August 2022 incident where Quando Rondo's cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, was killed in a shooting in Los Angeles.
Prosecutors allege the plot was a revenge attempt for the 2020 murder of King Von, a close associate of Lil Durk.
Durk was arrested last month in Miami while allegedly attempting to flee to Italy and remains in custody without bond.
Five other members of Durk's Only The Family collective have also been charged and are awaiting arraignment in Los Angeles.
