Lightning Strike Hospitalizes Seven Youth Hikers in Utah

Church group members experienced shock and required medical attention; none of the injuries are life-threatening.

The incident occurred during a light rainstorm in Sevier County, Utah.
Approximately 50 members of the youth group felt the shock from the lightning strike.
Two hikers with serious symptoms were flown to Primary Children's Hospital in Lehi.
Five others were transported to local hospitals by ambulance for treatment.
All affected hikers have been reunited with their families.
