Lighthouses Up for Sale or Free to Good Homes

The General Services Administration has lighthouses available for auction starting at $10,000 as well as some available for free to eligible organizations that agree to maintain them and keep them open to the public.
There are 10 lighthouses total up for grabs, split between auctions and giveaways.
The lighthouses available at auction have asking prices from $10,000 up to $50,000.
Organizations interested in a free lighthouse must show they can properly maintain the structure and allow public access.
If the free lighthouses don't find an owner, they will go to auction along with the other four.
