Liga MX Website Mislabels Aaron Ramsey’s Nationality and Birthplace

The Liga MX official website incorrectly lists Ramsey’s nationality as English and his birthplace as Caerphilly, England instead of Wales. The registration oversight was noticed on July 23 when fans and media highlighted the mislabeling on the league’s player roster page. Ramsey signed with Pumas de la UNAM from Cardiff City for the Apertura 2025 tournament after stints with Arsenal, Juventus and the Wales national team. He has begun studying Spanish through classes and visual aids to integrate with teammates and local supporters in Mexico City. He has not made his Pumas debut while recovering from a hamstring strain sustained during preseason training.
