- The regular season runs January 9–26 April with three midweek rounds, the Liguilla begins with quarterfinals on May 2–3, and the second leg of the Final is set for May 24 after the Play-In was scrapped.
- Bicampeón Toluca opens away at Monterrey on January 10, hosts Santos on January 14, and visits Tigres on January 17 in an early rematch of the Apertura Final.
- Classic rivalries are dated: Chivas vs América on February 14 (J6), Atlas vs Chivas and Tigres vs Rayados on March 7 (J10), Pumas vs América on March 21 (J12), and América vs Cruz Azul on April 11 (J14).
