Overview
- Technical rehearsals run January 30 to February 8 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with each Grupo Especial school allotted two free sessions under full lighting, sound and track operations.
- For the first time, children's samba schools open the program on three dates, scheduled for January 31, February 1 and February 8.
- The rehearsal order follows the 2025 final standings, starting with Acadêmicos de Niterói and ending with Beija-Flor de Nilópolis, with one confirmed swap between Mangueira and Paraíso do Tuiuti.
- The main Grupo Especial parades remain set for February 15–17 under the three-day format of four schools per night with regulated 70–80 minute presentations.
- Liesa will stage a free Copacabana fan fest from January 20 to February 21 featuring a 1,200-drummer opening performance tracked by Guinness World Records and live big-screen transmissions on parade nights.
