- The 5,000 m² arena near Posto 3 in Copacabana will operate Jan. 20 to Feb. 21 with capacity for up to 15,000 people on weekends and official parade days.
- Entry is free via the Liesa app with registration to generate a QR code, with tickets limited by CPF for controlled access, while the surrounding beach remains open to listeners.
- Programming includes live broadcasts of technical rehearsals, official parades, score apportion and the Champions’ Parade, alongside percussion and samba workshops, exhibitions and interactive experiences.
- Opening day on Jan. 20 will assemble about 1,200 drummers from all Special Group schools under Neguinho da Beija-Flor in an attempt seeking Guinness World Records recognition for the largest bateria.
