  • It was distributed via Lidl stores in Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and Thüringen.
  • Lidl has pulled the item from shelves and will refund returns at any store, including without a receipt.
  • Health authorities advise against eating the product, noting Listeria can cause severe illness and that symptoms may appear up to three weeks after exposure, especially in at‑risk groups.
  • The recall does not extend to other Sicily Food items or other products under the Sansibar Deluxe brand.
