- Lidl has removed the batch from sale and asks customers to stop using the product immediately.
- Customers can return the bottle to any Lidl store for a full refund without showing a receipt.
- Pluralibacter gergoviae is sometimes found in cosmetics and usually poses low risk to healthy people but can cause skin, eye, airway inflammation or urinary infections in immunocompromised or sensitive individuals.
- Lidl says no other Persan S.A. items or other Cien-brand products sold in Germany are affected and consumers who develop symptoms after use should seek medical advice.
