LIC Opens Online Registration for 841 AE and AAO Posts Through September 8

To secure a position, candidates have until September 8 to apply on licindia.in before the October 3 Preliminary qualifier.

Overview

  • The recruitment drive will fill 81 Assistant Engineer posts, 410 AAO Specialist roles and 350 AAO Generalist vacancies across India.
  • Prospective applicants aged 21–30 with a bachelor’s degree must use separate AE/AAO (Specialist) and AAO (Generalist) portals on licindia.in.
  • SC/ST/PwBD candidates pay ₹85 plus applicable GST and transaction charges, while all other applicants incur a ₹700 fee under the same additional charges.
  • The Preliminary exam on October 3 acts solely as a qualifier, with final merit based on Main exam performance and interview scores.
  • Admit cards for the Preliminary test will be released roughly seven days before the exam date, and the Main exam is scheduled for November 8.
