Lia Maivia to Be Inducted into WWE Hall of Fame by Grandson Dwayne Johnson

The trailblazing wrestling promoter and matriarch of the Anoa'i family, Lia Maivia, will join the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2024.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson announced he will induct his grandmother, Lia Maivia, into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2024.
Maivia was one of the first-ever female wrestling promoters, taking over Polynesian Pro Wrestling after her husband's death.
Her induction ceremony will take place on April 5, following SmackDown at the Wells Fargo Center.
Maivia's induction rounds out a class that includes Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, Muhammad Ali, the US Express, and Thunderbolt Patterson.
The Rock and Roman Reigns will headline WrestleMania 40, with many members of the Anoa'i family participating in the event.
