Li Auto Launches First All-Electric Model, the Mega MPV, in China

The luxury electric minivan, priced at $77,800, aims to compete with high-end petrol MPVs and become a top seller in its segment.

Li Auto's first battery EV, the Mega MPV, officially launched in China with a price tag of over RMB 560,000 ($77,800).
The Mega MPV features advanced aerodynamics, a large 102.7 kWh battery pack, and can charge 500km (311 miles) in just 12 minutes.
Li Auto aims to sell 800,000 vehicles this year, with the Mega MPV expected to be a top seller among luxury vehicles priced above RMB 500,000.
The electric minivan is equipped with luxury amenities such as reclining captain chairs, a fold-flat seat, a rear fold-down movie screen, and a tiny refrigerator.
Li Auto delivered 376,030 vehicles in 2023, aiming to challenge Tesla in China's premium EV market with its new all-electric model.
