LG Debuts AI-Powered Xboom Speaker Line Ahead of CES 2026

A will.i.am collaboration guides four models set for a 2026 release, with pricing still unannounced.

Overview

  • LG announced the Stage 501, Blast, Mini and Rock speakers, each using on-device AI to auto-adjust EQ and, on most models, to sync ambient lighting to the music.
  • Stage 501 targets parties and karaoke with AI vocal removal and pitch control, delivers up to 220W, and runs for about 25 hours or while plugged in.
  • Blast is a rugged boombox with a 99Wh battery rated for up to 35 hours, protected by edge bumpers and carried via a side rope handle.
  • Mini offers roughly 10 hours of playback along with a strap and a built-in tripod mount for flexible placement.
  • Rock is a palm-size, rock-shaped upgrade to the XG2 with about 10 hours of battery life and testing to seven military standards; the lineup will be shown at LG’s CES booth Jan. 6–9 before a 2026 rollout.
