  • Brad Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One champion coaxed back to mentor a rising rookie in the high-octane drama.
  • Filming took place during actual Grand Prix weekends at venues including Silverstone, Monaco and Mexico City, with Pitt and co-star Damson Idris behind the wheel of modified race cars.
  • Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton co-produced the movie through Dawn Apollo Films and formally approved Pitt’s and Idris’s on-track performances.
  • The ensemble cast features Javier Bardem, Damson Idris and Kerry Condon, alongside cameo appearances by real-life F1 drivers such as Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
  • F1’ opens in UK cinemas (including IMAX) on June 25 and in US theaters on June 27, with an Apple TV+ streaming debut slated later in 2025.
