Leonine Studios Launches Animation Division with Toon2Tango Acquisition

The new division, Leonine Animation Studios, will serve as a growth and investment platform for the development, production and acquisition of new international IPs.

• Leonine Studios has launched Leonine Animation Studios in partnership with Hans Ulrich Stoef and Jo Daris, the managing directors of Toon2Tango.
• Toon2Tango will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leonine Animation Studios from January 1, 2024.
• Leonine Studios and the Toon2Tango founders will each hold a 50% stake in Leonine Animation Studios, with Leonine having the option to acquire a controlling majority from 2025.
• Initial projects of Leonine Animation Studios include the production of the animated feature film 'Santa.Com' and the TV series spin-off of the movie franchise 'Niko'.
• Leonine Animation Studios is described as a growth and investment platform for the development, production and acquisition of new IPs with international scope.
