Overview

  • Prototype developer units began appearing on Chinese second-hand marketplaces, providing the first hands-on footage of the Windows-based Legion Go 2.
  • The leaked device features an 8.8-inch, 1920×1200 OLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate, variable refresh rate and HDR support.
  • Pre-production units run on an AMD Ryzen Z2 APU with an 8-core/16-thread CPU and 12-core Radeon 780M GPU, and Lenovo has confirmed a top-end Z2 Extreme variant.
  • Hardware upgrades extend to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD and a 74Wh battery for improved performance and endurance.
  • Refined detachable controller grips promise better ergonomics, although the combined weight reaches 938g, and Lenovo is reportedly eyeing a September launch near $1,000.
