Legora Raises $150 Million in Series C at $1.8 Billion Valuation

The company says the new funding will accelerate a global buildout to deepen adoption with large law clients.

Overview

  • The $150 million round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners with significant participation from ICONIQ, General Catalyst, Redpoint Ventures, Benchmark, and Y Combinator.
  • Since May, Legora reports growing from 250 to over 400 customers and expanding from about 20 to more than 40 markets, with clients including Linklaters, Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, and MinterEllison.
  • Legora operates from Stockholm, London, New York, Denver, and Sydney with nearly 200 staff, and it plans to scale headcount and open additional hubs.
  • The company says the capital will speed global expansion, accelerate its product roadmap, and deepen integration of its AI workflows within client operations.
  • Coverage places the raise in a platform race with Harvey, which is reported to have roughly $1 billion in funding and an $8 billion valuation, while Legora’s revenue remains undisclosed with market estimates up to about $40 million and Harvey disclosed $100 million ARR in August.
