Lego Unveils Snow White Set Amid Fan Design Controversy

Lego has unveiled a new set based on Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, featuring over 2,200 pieces and 10 minifigures, including all seven dwarfs, Snow White, the Prince, and the Evil Queen in disguise.
The set, priced at $219.99, will be available to Lego Insiders from March 1 and to the general public from March 4.
The design of the new Lego set closely resembles a fan creation that was previously submitted and rejected by Lego, sparking a minor controversy.
The set includes detailed recreations of the dwarfs' cottage and iconic elements from the 1937 film, such as a buildable wishing well and a forest scene with a glass casket for Snow White.
This release is part of Lego's ongoing collaboration with Disney, which has included other Disney-themed sets since at least 2016.
