Lego Unveils Largest Marvel Set: a 5,200-Piece Avengers Tower with 31 Minifigures, Available November 24
The $500 set replicates iconic scenes from the Avengers' films in a 3-foot tall tower, offering fans a collection of 31 minifigures, including Marvel Studios' head Kevin Feige and characters from the Infinity Saga.
- Lego is set to launch their largest Marvel-themed set featuring a 5,200-piece, 3-foot tall Avengers Tower, available from November 24th. The set includes 31 minifigures, reflecting characters from the Infinity Saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including the Marvel Studios' head Kevin Feige.
- The $500 set contains dioramas that enable fans to recreate key scenes from the Avengers' movies, from the Chitauri battle in the original film to the party scene from Age of Ultron. In addition to the tower, the set comes with a Quinjet and a Chitauri invasion ship.
- Characters from the Avengers' line-up as minifigures include Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Thor, Loki, Wanda Maximoff, Vision, Falcon and more. Other notable figures include Tony Stark in SHIELD Agent attire, SHIELD director Alexander Pierce, Erik Selvig, Dr. Cho, and Tony's robot assistant Dum-E.
- While the set is predominantly based on Avengers Tower, there are rooms dedicated to scenes from multiple Avengers movies. Fans can create memorable moments such as Hulk's clash with Loki, Captain America fighting himself, Tony Stark's confrontation with SHIELD director Alexander Pierce, and more.
- The Avengers Tower set unseats previous Marvel-themed sets in terms of size and volume, trumping the 4,049-piece Hulkbuster and the 3,772-piece Spider-Man Daily Bugle. It also establishes a new record by featuring the highest number of minifigures in a single Lego set.
