Overview
- LEGO announced the set on Tuesday, releasing a short promotional film that features Gillian Anderson returning as Dana Scully to help reveal the product.
- The model, numbered 21369, contains 1,478 pieces and two stackable display scenes: Mulder’s cluttered FBI office and a forest clearing with a hovering UFO.
- Eight minifigures are included: Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and a grey alien, plus show-specific Easter eggs like the “I Want to Believe” poster.
- The design began as a Brent Waller fan submission through the LEGO Ideas ’90s Nostalgia Challenge and reached the threshold for production after community voting.
- The set will be priced at $199.99, go on sale for LEGO Insiders on August 1 and for the general public on August 4, and buyers from August 1–10 will receive a limited Scully’s Lab gift-with-purchase while supplies last.
