Overview
- LEGO made the Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith set available to LEGO Insiders on Monday, June 1, with general sales set to begin on June 4.
- The collector-focused Icons release contains 8,278 pieces, includes 10 minifigures and features detailed interior scenes such as the throne room.
- The set is priced at $649.99 and purchases placed through June 7 qualify for two free companion sets — the Grond battering ram and Ninja Cole’s Car — while supplies last.
- Builders can follow step-by-step instructions in the LEGO Builder app and the finished model measures roughly 24 by 24 by 15 inches, designed for display rather than play.
- The release joins LEGO’s recent large-scale Icons builds and, because similar premium kits have sold out quickly, early access and the short promo window may pressure supply for non-members.
