Vince Tobin, who led the Arizona Cardinals to their first playoff win in over 50 years, died at the age of 79.
Tobin coached the Cardinals from 1996 to 2000 and had a record of 28-43 in his five seasons.
Known for his defensive background, Tobin previously served as defensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions.
Tobin helped draft notable Cardinals players like Jake Plummer, Pat Tillman and Aeneas Williams.
