Legendary Director Béla Tarr to be Honored with European Film Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award

Hungarian auteur Béla Tarr will receive the Honorary Award from the European Film Academy for his outstanding body of work.
Tarr is known for his long takes, stark black-and-white cinematography, and unique rhythmic style in films like Sátántangó, Werckmeister Harmonies, and The Turin Horse.
Previous Honorary Award recipients include Manoel de Oliveira, Michel Piccoli, Michael Caine, Andrzej Wajda, and Costa-Gavras.
Tarr moved to Sarajevo in 2016 after founding the film school "film.factory" there in 2013.
Indian film "Tumse Na Ho Payega!" recently became the most-viewed title on Indian OTT with 4.6 million views, highlighting meaningful stories resonating with today's youth.
