Legendary Actor Barry Newman, Star of ‘Vanishing Point’ and ‘Petrocelli,’ Dies at 92

Barry Newman, known for roles in Vanishing Point and Petrocelli, died on May 11 at age 92.
Newman played Kowalski, a Vietnam veteran, in Vanishing Point and defense attorney Anthony Petrocelli in Petrocelli.
Newman acted in film, TV, and on stage over a decades-long career that began in 1957.
Newman continued acting until 2019 despite being diagnosed with vocal cord cancer in 2009.
Newman is survived by his wife, Angela, to whom he was married for over 50 years.
