Overview
- Legacy Link strengthened her Oaks case with a convincing Musidora Stakes win at York and trainers John and Thady Gosden say she has trained on since that race.
- The filly is bred by Juddmonte to elite lines as a daughter of Dubawi out of a sister to Frankel, a pedigree that underpins expectations she will stay the 1m4f at Epsom.
- Colin Keane has been confirmed to ride Legacy Link at Epsom and the Gosdens reported a positive recent spin around the track ahead of Friday’s race.
- Amelia Earhart, fresh from the Cheshire Oaks, remains market favourite for Aidan O’Brien while trial winners such as Cameo, K Sarra and Sugar Island are named as credible threats.
- Pre‑race rain has unsettled the going at Epsom and connections say the softening turf could alter chances on Friday given the course’s undulating, stamina‑testing layout.
