Overview

  • Special counsel Min Joong-ki’s team raided the home and National Assembly office of New Reform Party leader Lee Jun-seok on July 28, designating him a suspect in the 2022 by-election meddling case and a reference witness for the 2024 general election allegations.
  • Rep. Yoon Sang-hyun of the People Power Party appeared for questioning on July 27 over claims that he acted on orders from former President Yoon Suk Yeol and first lady Kim Keon Hee to secure preferred candidates’ nominations.
