  • Katie Ledecky broke her own 800m freestyle world record with a time of 8:04.12, her first long-course world record since 2018.
  • Ledecky also posted the second-fastest times in the 1500m (15:24.51) and 400m (3:56.81) freestyle events earlier in the meet.
  • Gretchen Walsh became the first woman to swim under 55 seconds in the 100m butterfly, setting a world record of 54.60 in the final after breaking her own record earlier that day.
  • Walsh also clocked 24.93 seconds in the 50m butterfly, improving her American record and becoming the second-fastest woman ever in the event.
  • Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Jacory Patterson recorded world-leading performances in the 400m hurdles (52.07s) and 400m flat (43.98s) at the Grand Slam Track meet in Miami.
