LeBron James Becomes Owner of E1 Series Electric Boat Racing Team

The NBA legend joins a roster of celebrity team owners as the E1 Series begins its second season this weekend in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

LeBron James has been announced as the owner of Team AlUla in the UIM E1 World Championship, an all-electric boat racing series.
Team AlUla is named after an ancient Saudi Arabian city and will debut during the Jeddah GP on January 25, 2025.
The team will be piloted by Rusty Wyatt, a Canadian powerboat racing talent, and Catie Munnings, a British racer with podium finishes in E1’s debut season.
James joins a lineup of high-profile E1 team owners, including Tom Brady, Rafael Nadal, Will Smith, and Steve Aoki, among others.
The E1 Series promotes sustainable motorsport and innovation in electric mobility, with races scheduled in global locations like Doha, Monaco, and Miami.
