Overview
- Leaked reports indicate the Pixel Watch 4 will mark the third straight Pixel Watch to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor due to delays in the next-generation SW6100 chip and Google’s own wearable SoC.
- Google plans to offer the device in 41 mm (codenamed Meridian) and 45 mm (codenamed Kenari) sizes.
- The 41 mm model is said to pack a 327 mAh battery and the 45 mm model a 459 mAh battery, representing roughly 7 percent and 9 percent increases over current models.
- Each size is expected to launch in both Wi-Fi-only and LTE models to broaden connectivity options.
- The Pixel Watch 4 is widely expected to be unveiled alongside the Pixel 10 series at Google’s Made By Google event on August 20.
